Rimu & Harbour · New Zealand · Launching Summer 2026/27
Rimu & Harbour is a New Zealand venture building NZ Pie Fest — a national pie-festival platform that turns a city's best bakeries into one unforgettable day. We start in Wellington, then take it nationwide.
Rimu & Harbour is the New Zealand venture behind NZ Pie Fest. We take a format that works the world over — the large-format food festival — and build it properly for New Zealand, city by city.
We're not reinventing the wheel. We're adapting a proven category to local culture, local bakeries and local talent — and building the operational, commercial and creator framework that makes it land.
One day. The city's best bakeries, each bringing one signature pie. Drinks, crowds, and a new favourite around every corner — the kind of summer day a city talks about for weeks.
Every bakery brings ONE signature pie in a tasting size for $6 — best-pie bragging rights drive participation, and the public gets to try them all.
A single ticket includes your first drink. An easy yes for a casual summer afternoon — bring friends, eat, vote on your favourite.
Wellington first — a tight, food-loving city with a strong creator culture and real local pride. The perfect place to start something national.
The festival is funded largely by sponsorship, vendor participation and ticketing — so it stands on its own from the first edition and gets stronger as it grows. These are our launch targets and the vision ahead, not past results.
Figures are forward-looking targets and projections, shared in detail with partners and investors on request.
Rimu & Harbour is the New Zealand line of business of Aross Holding, an international group with experience running large-format food festivals and live events.
That means NZ Pie Fest isn't a first-timer's experiment — it's a proven playbook, brought to New Zealand by a team that has done it before, with the commercial backing to build it properly.
Building in New Zealand.
